Mission and Vision

Our Vision

A vibrant, densely populated section of Detroit’s near-west side where residents are able to purchase necessities and enjoy amenities without having to leave the neighborhood.

Mission Statement:

Full.Live will create a bustling commercial district for nearby residents and establish identity in a section of Detroit’s near-west side primed for investment with existing programs and infrastructure developments already in the works.

Impact Area

The Full.Live impact area focuses on a stretch of Detroit’s near-west side from Davison to Elmhurst, and from Dexter to I-96. The name of the project comes from the heart of this target area: the crossroads Fullerton at Livernois. Two neighborhoods with high residential density flank both sides of Livernois in the project bounds: Russell Woods and Oakman Blvd Community. Each neighborhood is home to its own distinct historic district of longtime Detroiters with active community associations.

The commercial strip is primed for success with its location between highly populated and established communities, its inclusion within Detroit’s Strategic Neighborhood Fund investment zone, and its proximity to the upcoming Joe Louis Greenway development.
